What more could you ask for?
Ever asked yourself what is it that
makes you feel content? That one thing that makes or assures you that you are
alive, alert and awake?
If people understood something about
revolutionary psychology, possibly they would even think differently; but the
fact is that they do not know anything. What they want is to survive in the
midst of their misfortune, and that is all.
There are pleasant and enjoyable
moments, but this not happiness. People confuse pleasure with happiness.
Parties, bar hopping, drinking sprees and orgies are brutish pleasures, but
they are not happiness...
Well I say I have had that feeling too.
Yep, I know you have had the feeling too and you know precisely what I mean by
that feeling or thoughts you might have now. Here is some of what I can say it’s;
don't let negative circumstances and sadness creep into or ruin your life.
Whenever you are sad, try to keep your head high. You should tell yourself that
life is full of hopes, challenges and unexpected twists and turns of surprises.
And don’t forget to keep yourself busy. You know what they say about idle
hands, right? Research has consistently found that people who stay busy are
happier than people who stand idle. Not only is too much free time a little
depressing, it can also be unproductive. Think of all the things you could be
doing, like joining clubs, visiting places, hearing lectures, and then think of
how little time you are given in life to do just that.
Remember the day you felt the very
same as you do now or few moments ago when you had that feeling that brings you
down in a way that as if you are all alone and no one really cares about how
you feel? Well, without a waste of much time, I'm talking about that moment
when you feel that there is nothing else in the world that can bring you down.
There are points where you would think to yourself that you don't deserve to be
happy- guess what? I say no one deserves such a thing, happiness it is not only
about someone giving it to you or making you feel it. And remember give
yourself reasons to smile. It has been found that the act of smiling may
actually made you happier.
Forgiving others is the act of letting
bygones be bygones. If you can find it in your heart to forgive other people,
even ones who don't deserve it or aren't willing to forgive you, studies say
that you'll be a happier person. Forgiveness isn’t only about you living a
happier life only, it also helps you to balance your health in regards to highblood
pressure and stress levels… just to name a few.
You can be happy by what you produce
from within. I mean if you happy what else can you ask for?
“People
want pretty much the same things: They wanted to be happy. Most young people
seemed to think that those things lay somewhere in the future, while most older
people believed they lay in the past.” ― Nicholas Sparks, Nights in Rodanthe
