Sunny & Blissful Friday the 13th.

Beautiful and blissful day it is, sun shining so bright, kids are playing outside, we all had a better morning. Cool drinks and cold beverage are cooling people down so to face the hot day after a couple of few days rain. I'm sitting here with my nephews talking about movies such as "drag me to hell", "Freddy vs Jason" etc.. Yep you catch the drift- horror & thriller movies we like... As it is Friday the 13th. It's a day of happiness, everybody feels fresh, clean & already discussing Christmas day plans for the year 2013. Swimming pools are filled with the kasi kids, rejoicing on the happy hour of the sun shine & its heat. Ice creams are not only as desserts after meals, but cool refreshments to keep one cool and refreshed. That's the day most people will consider it the "Summer of 2013"... Friday the 13th has been the best day for us since our December '13 has started with SA losing their world Icon - Dr Nelson M

"Izandla ziyaGezana"

Today's piece it's about when the other hand fails to wash the other... I mean as we are people; it is human nature for us to have spouses, friends, cousins, relatives and mostly importantly the people whom God decides for you not as we chose our friends - FAMILY! We often hear what elders seldom say "Izandla ziya gezana" (The other hand washes the other). However my question is; how often do we as humans practice that in our daily lives? How often do you help back the very same person who helped you when you were REALLY in need of their help? I speak of such words because I have personally noticed in my experiences that family (yes, them) they actually ARE the people most times they don't really "scratch your back" quite as often as you do to them. Friends or Relatives sometimes doesn't really encourage you to be the person you really fond of becoming - Personally I think for one to succeed in life, it's not because I want to prove myself

My Very First Blog!

Well, I'd start by saying - Who am I? My name it is Tebogo Benjamin Temana, I was born in Soweto in the year of 1984 on the six of October. I’m an open person, a believer, imaginative, creative and comfortable with varieties and change. But I can also tend towards individualistic behavior and impractical thinking. And then get to say secondly - I'm a quick learner, able to become part of a team and taking on assignments is easy for me. I've worked in many different areas - being a loveLife Youth centre coordinator, IT desktop supporter and the National coordinator for Radio and Cyber Ys program in designing and developing content and head trainings for both programmes.. Blah blah blah, the rest is history. Thirdly I'd say - I was very fortunate to travel to Malawi last year. The trip helped me in my upbringing by joining local organizations that deals with youth development. As part of my achievements for the trip to Malawi; I was appointed as a Deputy Chair
